So sad to hear such negative reviews. We must be very fortunate. The staff is all very knowledgeable, professional and pleasing to work with. Dr. Herstwicker (sp?) knows what he is doing and is a good listener. My Mother is 82 with old back and knee injuries that are causing her pain. She visits here once a year for her maintenance at DPI and goes home feeling better. The office staff was good to me. The doctor was amazing. He fixed what was wrong and now feel fine
went here for pain management and got nothing of the sort. I had barely been on pain meds a week for extreme pain and was hoping they could form a plan for me while i waited for potential surgery. Instead i got to take a drug test and sign a waiver that no doctor could give me any pain meds which i was alright with until they never called me nor did they issue anything in place of my meds or anything. Awful! Waited over an hour and a half. Finally got in to see the doctor for him to tell me that my x rays are normal and I'm fine. Nothing wrong with me and sent me on my way with no pain medication nor a recommendation of a MRI. I went to another doctor that immediately ordered one and found that I had a lot going on that explained the pain. I'm so glad I trusted my gutt and went elsewhere. This place is a complete waste of time.
Super friendly and professional staff. Extremely prompt, and knowledgeable. Had 8am appt. Completed paperwork and in front of Dr at 7:55. Definitely recommend Desert Pain Institute!
