Amazing doctor
Dr. Hochberg is an amazing doctor. He really cares about his patients' physical and mental wellbeing. He is interacting with people who are going through perhaps the worst thing in their lives and consistently brings a great deal of compassion into that situation. I cannot imagine a better doctor to help me through my illness. He and the MGH cancer care team are world-class!
I have been seeing Dr. Hochberg for about 6 or 7 years. He's very empathetic, very personal, knows your case well and works with you to accomplish both your best health goals and your personal needs. He also addresses your concerns and will bend normal procedures to make you feel as though your input is important, too. My only "criticism" is he is a realist and will let you know your non-Hodgkins lymphoma always returns. I asked him to stop reminding me (lol). After we crossed that bridge, he has never reminded me.
