I am a prior student and have rotated with Dr. Benedetti during my liver transplant rotation. He is an excellent teacher with such great composure and warmth to patients. Truly a Gem at UIC!
Very rude yelled at my daughter making her feel bad as she was going through depression and anxiety after her transplant and said she was “throwing a tantrum this is not depression” as she refused a biopsy because she had just gotten admitted for mental health and couldn’t handle going through that right now as she got them every week and barley moved to every other week they care more about the transplant then rather the person themselves
