I have been going to her for a few years and she is wonderful and really cares deeply for her patients. She knows her stuff and all about meds. What they do for you and has wonderful bedside manner. I love this dr.
Great doctor
Dr. Emma Cabusao is one rare kind of a doctor. She cares for her patients to the best she can.She not only deals with her patients medically but also treats them as family....?She has a heart for, obedient patients .......
First impression was okay. However, she immediately prescribed medication and gave me a number that she said so I can call her at any time. I had terrible side effects and called that number every day for a week with no response even though I left messages. Finally she called back demanding why I left so many messages and was very rude to the point I just knew I was done with her. This happened 2 years ago and I still had to write this review because of how terrible that experience was.
I have been seeing Dr Cabuso for over 2 years. She listens to me and gives me advice to follow. She is very caring and a great doctor.
I have seen three different psychiatrists for PTSD, and Dr. Cabusao is the only one who ever asked me about what's going on in my life/how I'm feeling. On the first visit, she asked me about the medications I have taken before and whether or not they were effective. She also told me about a genetic test that could tell how effective medication would be. She referred me to another therapist within Genesis (who I also like), and they communicate frequently about my progress. She shows she cares.
She was volatile and confrontation which was not good for my PTSD or anxiety. She kept pushing medication on me without giving me time to think about it. Got loud and angry when I said I wanted to wait. Tossed things around and said she refused to help me. Disvowed her Hippocratic Oath for sure.
Dr. Emma B. Cabusao, MD has a 4.2 star rating with 20 reviews.
