This Dr takes a real interest in his patients. He takes the time to listen to your problems, and answers any questions you have. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
As a former patient I would advise others to look elsewhere for care.
As a professor emeritus at Dr. Perser's medical alma mater, my impression is that he is typical of most graduates of the UAMS College of Medicine. After 50 years of experience with physicians in teaching, clinical and research capacities, I find Dr. Perser to be less than thorough. He twice needed to be reminded of a much needed medical referral to a specialist. During the initial visit, he was congenial. During a follow-up visit, he seemed curt, short of time and preoccupied, a disappointment.
He is a very concerned doctor with excellent bedside manners. He listens to you and orders a test that coincide with your complaints. He is very thorough and does not leave you waiting to be seen. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a doctor who listens.
After an emergency room visit I was told I needed to see my Doctor after an Xray showed a mass on my lung, I didnt have a Doctor. I must have looked into 8 different doctors with no luck. I called Dr. Persers office and I had an appointment scheduled within 2 days. His staff was out of this world getting my insurance taken care of. Dr Perser knew right away what it was and wasted no time in getting me the care I needed. He is kind, compassionate and a dam good Doctor! It was lung cancer stage 4
My husband and I both are patients. Dr. Perser carefully listens then discusses treatment options with us. Dr. Perser respects our feelings and our opinions. Good doc!
I've gone to Dr. Preser for about 15 years. He is WONDERFUL! He truly cares how you feel. I never wait long to see him.
