I’m from out of town, got a splinter in the bottom of my foot, literally googled urgent care in Taos. My friend who is local has been to other urgent care facilities in town and was very apprehensive, but the reviews were good so we went for it. Im going to keep this short. I visited the clinic as a walk-in patient to evaluate symptoms that were similar to a cold but unfamiliar and persistent. After a throat culture and visual observations, the PA diagnosed me having virus type that should resolve on its own, not an infection needing medication. I appreciate having access to this local healthcare resource on short notice, and the explanations the PA provided.
Caring for someone with dementia is not easy, but this office has been wonderful. They treat my loved one with dignity and patience, and when breathing issues came up, they handled it with urgency and care. We’re very thankful for their support.
Not sure why they advertise all these wellness services as a walk-in clinic but then they turn you away for a simple physical.
