Dr. Black is absolutely exceptional. She is incredibly thorough, takes the time to genuinely listen to every concern, and addresses each one with care and intention. I’m so grateful I became her patient last year. She is a rare, truly old-fashioned physician who sees her patients as people—not numbers. She genuinely cares about her patients’ well-being.
The review comes from having a negative experience with the unhelpful receptionist who seemed like she didn’t want to do her job. When you call, there’s no greeting just “doctor’s office” in an annoyed tone. I asked for an appointment and she asked me to call my insurance to check if the doctor is part of my plan. I gave her my insurance information to which she said the doctor does accept it but still insisted I call my insurance company first.
