Dr. Ross is an awesome ophthalmologist who provided preventative laser treatment for me with regard to angle closure glaucoma. I found her to be professional and personable.
In April-May 2026, I had cataract surgery performed by Dr Ella A. Ross of Ottawa at the Riverside Hospital. Right eye in April, left eye in May. Communication with Dr Ross, her staff, and the Riverside Hospital was precise and accurate. The pre and post op surgery eye drop instructions were detailed and easy to follow. Excellent services we waited 5 min. The receptionnist was very nice and could speak 6 languages. The technicien had an excellent French and English. And was very professional and personal. And the doctor was really nice. Excellent services. 5 stars for sure.
I went to my first appointment after being referred by my eye doctor, I was there for over 2 hours and all that happened was 2 quick tests and a 2 minutes conversation with doctor ross. During one of the quick tests the employee doing the test grabbed face and yanked open my eye without any warning or asking if she could pull my eyelid open.
