Had a melanoma removed on my upper back ( including a lymph node) in March 2025 . Surgery went well, aftercare has been nothing short of a nightmare! I’m still having severe issues a year later ! She doesn’t seem interested in how long this has been going on . One nurse is very nice and professional, the other staff members ( particularly appointment ) receptionist is very rude ! Dr. Jackson performed a gallbladder surgery on me in September 2024. After a week home recovering, I was taken by ambulance where it was uncovered that I had a severe bile leak, pancreatitis, ascites in my liver, and was going septic. I was transported to BRMC where I underwent two procedures to attempt to stop the leak. 7.5 GALLONS of bile was drained off of my body-the most the team I had ever seen. Such an amazing Dr! A great experience granted recovery was a bit rough but her team literally held me in their arms and made it all ok. Total life changing operation I have no more pain and sickness. I can't say THANK YOU enough
Dr Jackson had excellent bed side manner. I feel treated like a person that matters, not only a patient. I have to say having thyroid cancer scared me beyond belief. Now I'm not a cancer victim, because of Dr Jackson and every member of my medical teams I will be a cancer survivor... thank you for all you do to every member of the staff!!! I am forever grateful to be able to watch my daughter get through college and live her dream of becoming a doctor...
