I started going to Dr. Elguera when I first moved to Northern VA in 2011. Centreville was my first home and her office was right around the corner. She was my Dr until I relocated in 2014 to Maryland. Since I've been to several other Dr's. While their offices may have been neater and upgraded I didn't always feel I got personalized attention. I went to Dr. Elguera over 15 years ago after learning I was pregnant. Through her persistent diligence, she diagnosed me as a high risk pregnancy with other potential pregnancy complications and set me on a strict course of doctor visits with her and a specialist. I had been previously told by other doctors that I likely would not be able to have children. Because of Dr. Elguera's course of treatment, major issues were caught and my son was born. I visited this doctor in 2011. I was not very happy at the comments that she made while I was lying on the table with my legs in the stirrups. When I had to have some tests completed regarding my breast, she told me that it was probably cancer. I left the office shocked, and to this day have never forgotten that remark, nor the very personal one made to me during a check-up. I will never return to her office again - poor mannerisms.
