I've been going to both of these doctors for years when they were at other offices. While it is true they don't accept insurance (and many doctors don't these days because they are paid a pittance by the insurance companies), you can submit your paperwork to your insurance company for payment. They are considered "out of network" and a lot of insurance will pay a portion or all of your bill if you do the paperwork and follow-up. I called this office so excited because I thought maybe I found a doctor that would treat me with respect and help me on my journey through this hypothyroid mess. I found Dr. Clamp online talking about how unfair many thyroid patients are treated because doctors refuse to help those patients even thought they know they are unwell. I called the office and the woman stated that they do not accept insurance and an initial meeting was $350. Dr. Clamp - I'm so glad you are so fair (sarcasm). What a scam!
