Dr. Vikis, Cher, and Linda the Ninja are all very friendly and genuine. I've been here over 5 times and have lost count, but whenever I come in for an appointment, the quality of my life increases. For over a year I was unable to drive my own car or sit at a restaurant due to pain, now I'm pretty much a functional human again. It's been one and half hour and I am still waiting for my appointment . Initially MOA told me that I will be the next person to go in around 12.30 and then later on she called another patient ,when I asked her that I was the next patient so she rolled her eyes and mentioned that " I correct myself and there will be one patient ahead of you ." Later on I see that three patients went inside and I am still in waiting area so I felt MOA is racist and rude . I will write another review when I see doctor .
My GI and two surgeons were ready to remove my colon without running any further tests. Dr. Vikis listened, reviewed my previous reports and did her own diagnostics. She saved me from an unnecessary life-changing surgery and quite literally saved my ass 10/10, would keep my colon again 🩺
I've had 6 surgeries with Dr. Vikis and I would not trust my intestines with anyone else. She's always been caring and compassionate but she is extremely busy. You might have to wait, but I'd rather wait for a surgeon that knows what she's doing than chance it with someone inexperienced and less educated. Last year I ended up getting a permanent ileostomy and even though it wasn't what I wanted, it was what I needed to stop being in pain 24/7.
