I was respected and listened to. I really appreciate how Dr. Yin and the staff were so polite and helped me finally get the appropriate hormones. She and her staff answered all my questions without making me feel ridiculous for asking.

This site asks, "How likely are you to recommend Dr. Yin?" I used to 100% recommend her, but now I can't because, like other reviews here - it's impossible to book an appointment. I love Dr. Yin. She is a caring, thorough, compassionate, and adorable dear person and a great doctor. But, over the last few years, it has become nearly impossible to make an appointment for a yearly exam. I think Dr Yin is a great doctor. This review is for the office staff. It looks like there are several other bad reviews as well. Staff was disorganized and several staff gave different answers regarding insurance. Also staff did not give me a call about pending insurance approval for pending appointment.

I love Dr. Yin. Why only two stars? Because it has become impossible to make an appointment. I've called 4 times and each time I call,I'm told to call back in a couple weeks because they're only opening scheduling one month at a time. So I call back--get told they're booked up and to call in a couple weeks -- again!! I said I'd recently had a HRT related heart attack and need to see her and was told to see my primary doc. He didn't prescribe HRT! Dr. Yin did and needs to know. Disappointed.

I will start by saying that Dr. Yin was wonderful. I am writing a negative review because of an interaction May 1 at 4pm with a receptionist. My birth control prescription expired without warning, so I called the office to get a refill. Instead, the receptionist lectured me on my inability to make an appointment, hung up on me, and hung up again the next 3 times I called. I teach at Cal Poly, and was professional with her, and while I'm sure she had a bad day, this was ridiculous.

What an amazing doctor. This is the first time I have ever left a doctor's appointment feeling like every question I had was answered. I didn't even have to wait to see her (I have waited up to 2 hours at other doctors offices). She helped me feel confident in our treatment plan, even with all of the potential bumps in the road. I feel very lucky to have found her.
