I called to make appointment with good insurance doctor don’t accept new patient with my PPO , she is not the only doctor in town doing this, more & more doctors don’t like to deal with insurance companies unfortunately medical world is more business than medical. Good old days my dad as a doctor didn’t even care about insurance.
wow wow wow. tried to make an appointment. was asked what my insurance was---it is Blue Cross Blue Shield. Was told they are in network for this insurance but NOT for new patients. Only for existing patients. Would not even allow self-pay because they do accept this insurance. Huh? Never have I ever heard of such a thing. Be advised.
