Explains everything in detail and if you are a good candidate for your needed procedures or surgery. Excellent bed side manner, caring and kind. Also has scouted the word for surgical talent so his team is top notch.
Poor follow up,my husband sent home too early with drain ,was told should be out in 2 days, was in for well over a week, visiting nurse made several calls to office and was given technical info, did not help, My husband died . I think the tube had punctured his bowel, he was not able to eat he had golfed 18 holes the day before op Another thing was the Zolo vest,terrible fit and unnecessary but I guess the hospital was paid to get patients to use it($300 or so)
If I could give less than one star I would. After a seemingly great experience, Dr. Savage completely left my grandfather and stopped responding after surgery. He was on the wrong type of medication, I have never seen such medical negligence in my life. If it wasn’t for the team of other doctors we had to seek out, my grandfather would not be alive. I am shocked he is allowed to treat patients with such despicable behavior.
Takes time explaining everything from benefits to risks …. Very direct and easy to understand. Great bedside manner. Highly recommend
