The first time I saw him, after being told that I had stage IV bile duct cancer and didn't understand anything about cancer at the time, he told me that it was stage one, making me think I could live, but that's not what's happening. After surgery, he told me that he got 99.9% of the cancer, but it was microscopically in lots of places.
