I am a retired physician. Over the past 50 years I have witnessed the change in the practice of medicine and the involvement of non-medical overseers driven by profit motive. Edra has been able to preserve the primary focus on patient care and the comfortable doctor patient relationship.
I usually do not write reviews, but I have to say that Dr. Edra Stern, Lori, and the staff are highly qualified, extremely professional, and most importantly, very caring towards their patients.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Stern in her Greenwich office for a year now and it’s been a great experience. Dr. Stern is thoughtful and thorough. She listens well, and if you have a health concern she takes measured steps toward a solution. Laurie, her nurse, and Jennifer her receptionist are both lovely.
Dr Stern is exactly what I wish every medical professional was: caring, knowledgeable, readily available, understanding and with a superb bedside manner. At every visit you know that your wait won't exceed 5 minutes, if that, and her staff already expects you. Dr Stern goes above and beyond in coordinating your care with other providers and doesn't let go until all results are in her capable hands. DR STERN IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE, NO MATTER THE TIME OF DAY OR NIGHT, EVEN WHEN SHE IS ON VACATION. SHE IS ABLE TO PROVIDE THE NECESSARY INFORMATION THAT IS NEEDED TO DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM, AND SHE ALWAYS REQUEST THAT SHE BE KEEP UPDATED. IF SHE FEELS THE SITUATION REQUIRED IMMEDIATE RESPONSE, I HAVE EXPERIENCED HER REQUEST TO CALL 911 OR GET IF ABLE TO THE HOSPITAL..
