waiting 1 hr 45 min for a simple phone call follow up / review report appointment, not with Dr Lau (he is retiring) but with another Dr. . Called office twice and says due to bronchoscopy at the hospital taking longer than expected The Dr, when he finally called, apologized for the delay, he spoke in a clear and professionally manner. Impatient receptionist, don’t have human compassion
Exact same thing happened to us as what Shirley C commented - No one called us for the PHONE appointment booked THREE WEEKS ahead. Then on the day of, doctor ghosted. Called the clinic line, and guess what - they are on holiday - WOW. This is completely unacceptable, especially for a medical clinic. Patients rely on these appointments and plan around them. Today is Jan. 6th, 2025. Why is your phone saying you are still in holidays? How can we make an appointment if you don't answer your phone?
I very much agree with all the unhappy patients of Dr. Edgar Lau. My appointment was 5 minutes after a wait of 50 minutes over the time of the appointment - no excuses from him or the secretary. I am also totally unhappy with the behaviour of Dr. Edgar Lau during the time, 5-8 minutes spent with him. I am not sure at all about the next appointment and his findings. I will probably look for a phone conversation. I hope we never met.
