Minimal to no wait time. Patient, thorough, explanations are very, very good. Highly recommend!
Dr Wion is one of the finest doctors I have ever been to. She takes the time to thoroughly understand what brings me into the office and is truly concerned with my total wellbeing. When I send her a message on mychart, she responds very quickly.
I would not recommend this doctor because she now has open scheduling which means when you call to schedule an appointment you will not be able to schedule it that day. They will call you in 2 weeks to schedule even though you are calling them now to schedule and it's possible in 2 weeks that the appointment you need is filled. Also when you are in the room with her she has a timer that goes off which interrupts the visit because she has to stop what she's doing to open the door to turn it off.
Business response:
Unfortunately this is in regards to a previous practice where alternative scheduling options were offered to meet patient requests for acute visits within a reasonable timeframe. In addition, at this practice we were assessing a variety of means of being on time for all our patient appointments including an alert about the next patient arrival.
I had to wait over an hour and she still wasn't ready to see me. I ended up leaving! I had to actually find someone to figure out if I was even close to being seen. I would not recommend. It is totally unprofessional to make a patient wait that long!
Business response:
My philosophy is to take necessary time as needed with each patient during their appointment. Unfortunately at times unforeseen concerns arise and must be attended to resulting in the following appointments being delayed. Typically patients are informed if we are behind and given the option to reschedule if possible. If this did not happen, I extend an apology.
