My robotic assisted lap myomectomy was done at JFK medical center. I had many fibroids, the largest 15 cm. 3 different Obgyn recommended open myomectomy because of the fibroid size but I was referred to dr perisic in may and had my robotic surgery done in July 2025. Dr perisic is a god send, very skilled at what he does and highly confident . My surgery was successful and all fibroids were removed and uterus preserved. Dr Perisic is one of the few doctors specialized in the type of procedure that I needed and I didn't have many options. Procedure was a lot more invasive than I was led to believe and following 5 post operative incisions, one turned into a hernia, a concern that I brought up with Dr Perisic at my first follow up, after the surgery .Dr Perisic seemed very dismissive of my concern, same at my second follow up with him, when it was becoming very obvious that the lump around my incision is a hernia formation.
