Arrived in Orkney after first fully loaded trip on bike. Couldn’t believe how flattened tyre had become. Arrived out at Dr D’s on a Saturday, had tyre in stock, fitted & priced at what quoted back home. Dave really friendly, knows his stuff & thoroughly recommend if problem up here & you think no motorcycle repair shop !
Recently travelled to Orkney for a weeks holiday on my BMW R1150GSA I foolishly thought I had 'enough life' left in my rear tyre before leaving home. After riding 250 miles from home to Scrabster then touring mainland Orkney it became clear that a new tyre was required before my onward trip to Shetland. Fantastic 5 star service. Having done my own temporary repair to a punctured tyre earlier that day I messaged Dave whilst getting on the ferry from Shetland at 5pm on Friday night, had a new tyre fitted by 4 pm on Saturday. Cracking job .
