Dr. Kase saved my tooth! My tooth was a tough case but fortunately Dr. Kase was tougher!!!! I had a root canal that required perseverance...I am not sure other doctors would of stuck with me and gone the extra mile Dr. Kase did to save me from either dental surgery or loosing my tooth. It took multiple visits and it was stressful, because of the situation (Dr. Kase kept me posted on the pros and cons as he worked) but not at all painful or uncomfortable; he is brilliant when it comes to injecting Novocain. May I preface this with the fact that I have always been a "basket-case" when going to the dentist. For most of my adult life I have only felt comfortable going to a friend (whom I have known since I was about 5). A couple of weeks ago I went to the dentist to find I needed two root canals -- my friend sent me to Dr. Kase -- a friend he has known for 25 years -- and swore that he was "good". Family dentists always marvel at my beautiful, expert root canals by Dr. Doug Kase--all provided virtually painfree, including one performed on an emergency basis, with resort to nitrous oxide (totally unnecessary when you're in such expert hands). He has performed about 7 root canals for me, I've lost count actually! (I have chronic dental problems) and I would never go anywhere else for this treatment. didn't work for me. I also had three root canals done; two months later I still had pain. Dr. Kase told me he had no idea where the pain was coming from. Tried to sell me another root canal next to the three that were already done but finally agreed to re-do one that he had already done and gave me an appointment for five weeks later! I can't believe I'm the first to review Dr. Kase on this site. He is a marvelous endodontist. I have had three root canals done by Dr. Kase, and I recommend him to all my friends who ask for references. He works deftly and efficiently and appears to hold himself to the highest of professional standards. He takes pride in his work, and he should.
