I’ve seen Douglas at different times in my life for different reasons. After trying over a dozen different counsellor, psychologists and coaches, Dr Ozier is absolutely the best! He was able to help me get to the real roots of different issues I had and ACTUALLY work through them through a variety of techniques, vs just talking and talking about it, as a lot of other counsellors do. I saw Douglas for 3 years starting in 2012. I entered therapy hoping to become a better partner, but this goal was probably doomed because I was a covert narcissist and I was not prepared to really face myself. Nevertheless I hold Douglas responsible for enabling me and reinforcing my narcissistic tendencies and for joining me in scapegoating my partner. Dr. Ozier is very, very skilled, compassionate and empathetic. Whether dealing with past difficulties, history or current concerns he is equally wise, knowledgeable, understanding and capable. His sensitive and focused ability to listen and gently guide and help to process for self discovery and growth is unparalleled in my quite long history of healing and growth.
