Very disappointing experience. One week before my scheduled lap band removal, I was informed that I would need to pay a $3,000 deposit for an out-of-network assistant surgeon — in addition to the $2,800 I was already responsible for with the in-network surgeon. Had gastric bypass on 06/16/2016 at 48 years old. My surgery weight was 470 pounds. I have been maintaining 235 lbs steadily for 10 years now. Dr. Krahn is amazing... I opted for the scholastic band and it works perfectly, no 5 day pouch tests lol
I just recently had my surgery and I will say they made sure from the beginning of my process to make sure I was informed and took the time to work with me. Dr B is honestly the most amazing doctor I’ve ever met the day of surgery he did everything to help with my anxiety!
