I had my Lapland surgery with Dr. Krahn back in 2012 and they were amazing!! I have recently return to his office for a revision to a gastric sleeve. Dr. Martin just removed my gallbladder 2 weeks ago and he was awesome!! Dr. Brooke is full of energy and just simply amazing as well :) And let me tell you about Ms. Ruth, she has been an angel, definitely heaven sent!! Ruth is on it!! and on top of EVERYTHING!! I’m pretty sure I go back the furthest in these reviews with this Dr. I don’t regret my surgery and for a long time I didn’t regret Dr Krahn. He told me after my surgery that he had to cut me open but he would fix the scar later ….well that never happened. I kept going back to see him to get the scar fix but I’m sure that he probably didn’t want to go about getting it approved so he just screamed at me to basically forget about it. So I decided to leave a review after coming on here and seeing so many negative comments about people individual experiences.. I am 6 months into my journey and fingers crossed will be scheduled for gastric bypass in the next couple of months. I can say that I've had nothing but a great experience with Western Bariatric so far. I've never had any of my appointments canceled or felt I was treated differently because of my insurance. Do your research before choosing this office. Really understand what you’re getting yourself into because this place only cares about one thing and that is money. The better your insurance the faster your service. If you have private insurance you will move along quickly. If you have public insurance you will wait forever. Customer service is not based on care or professionalism but on how much your insurance is willing to pay out.
