No idea why this guy is a Doctor, mentally checked out. Not intrested in helping patients at all. Unless you are at the end stages of your disease and suffering, he will not help you. He will most likely tell you that you have "fibromyagia". Even when your blood tests consistently show otherwise. Any cases that require actual thought and research he will send you away. He isn't intrested in anything that requires using his brain. He is super dismissive and doesn't listen to patient concerns. No clue why this guy is practicin... read more
Dr. Douglas Marks has been great! Very knowledgeable, listens to needs and recommends options for treatment clearly. His staff have also been a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend him for Rheumatology Services and Arthritis Care.
He admitted my ANA levels weren’t right but refused to do further blood work, was very dismissive. He talked about lupus way too much when he admitted lupus doesn’t cause back pain, my main concern. He then diagnosed me with fibromyalgia but was so dismissive about it. He said I should be thankful it wasn’t something else, ignoring that fibromyalgia doesn’t have a cure and ruins peoples lives. He then gave me basically no treatment plan except exercise more and get a sleep study. I’m never going back, if you’re a young woman... read more
Saw Dr Marks years ago re pain in joints. He diagnosed me with fibromyalgia & said everything else was fine. Years later I call back to try & get an appointment as its severely worse & need treatment only to be met by rude front end staff. I honestly don't know if he even wants to work. Every question was met with a negative response by the operator. I'm a chronic pain patient been on disability since 2008, no stranger to office politics. good luck!
