I wouldn't even have given him one star but I had to in order to write this I went to this doctor twice for surgery my condition is life threatening and this was the only doctor in Louisiana to take my Medicaid but his office staff is rude and doesn't return messages left for them I was going in to operating room and was told no because I failed for weed so they wasn't going to do surgery when in fact I didn't fail so I got sent home so go back for round two then they said again as I am going into surgery but this time I fai... read more
Was no help to me, asked me why I was walking the way I was. Told him I was in pain. Had to ask to get a MRI, after I had it I never heard back from him, had to call the office myself and get a referral to pain management. I read the MRI, I had a disc protrusion on my l5-s1. I do not recommend this doctor.
Went to see doctor smith he came into the room with a walker and stitches all in his head and proceeded to tell me I was fat he said there is nothing he can do because I’m fat and diabetic and that is why my back hurts. Now that being said I told him I’ve have back problems since I was a teenager and also when I only weighed 108 pounds. My weight has always been up and down and the back pain stays the same. He done a ct mylegram on my lower back because I was having lower back pain that was going down both legs. Since I had the test done I'm not able lay on my back it hurts to bad to lay on it. Now when I stand up my legs shake feel like they want to fold up on me. I have called his office several times trying to talk to his nurse but never got to talk to anyone. I will never use this Dr again.
My husband had surgey almost 2 years ago. Today he had an appointment for his lower back and the nurse was quite blunt and had no bed side manor what so ever. When the Dr came in, He proceeded to tell my husband that it was just arthutis and that surgery wouldnt do any good. Then he showed us on my husbands MRI where his spinal canal is colapsing on his spinal cord and nerves. IIm no doctor, but I even know arthutis dosent cause that.
