Dr. Swartland and his staff have always been top-notch, friendly professional, and on their game. I would recommend them to anybody.
The atmosphere in the office is tense and uncomfortable. The hygienist is bullying and uses microaggressions to control and exert power over patients. As an example, she tells you to gargle then goes away leaving you with nothing to spit into and unsure what to do. She leans the patient chair so far back that all the blood rushes to your head. People are very nice to me there. I just want to give a very objective feedback hoping it will be useful for people thinking of coming here/using Invisalign. My case was complicated, i have open bite, and my upper and lower parts are all a mess. I spent about 3 years(2014-2017) correcting here. In the end, I still have an open bite and my lower part wasn’t quite fixed, the only thing changed was my upper part.
