Dr. Gerry has been my primary physician for 15 years. Could not ask for a better Doctor, he has always helped me through my numerous medical issues.
I liked Dr. Gerry, however when my husband was having some medical concerns he needed to see the doctor in a timely manner (he had been a patient for about 2 years ). The best the office could do was an appointment 2 months later. So my husband asked if he could see another doctor affiliated with Primary Health Care. Instead of letting him see another doctor in the practice, they kicked him out of the entire practice. Shortly afterward, my husband suffered a heart attack.
He's been my general doctor since 2007/2008. He's down to earth, easy to talk to about anything, and easy to understand. All are qualities needed for choosing a general practice doctor. One critique is likely applicable to most doctors...he reads my file during a typical office visit as if he's experiencing it for the first time. Perhaps a little pre-prep time could alleviate this, but where to find the time is understood.
