I have been treating with Dr. Garver for several years now dealing with on/off hip & back issues. Dr. Garver has always been extremely thorough with his diagnosis and care. He is very kind and took the time to help me feel less anxious while there. That means the most to me as I have terrible white coat syndrome. I always feel valued and heard. I’ve seen Dr Garver for several years with the issues knee and shoulder issues very grateful he didn’t rush to surgery. And when he did operate, he did wonderfully and my recovery was very quick and very good. He was very compassionate about the pain I was experiencing. I wouldn’t trust anyone else for my knee or shoulder.
If I could rate him a zero I would. My mother had total knee replacement surgery and had to stay overnight. When I came the next day to visit her, she told me that this man came into her room to check on her leg and immediately grabbed it. Keep in mind. Her surgery is fresh as she just had it two days ago. My mother went to Dr. Garver some years ago. Decided she needed hip replacement. She went through the right hip replacement. My father and I went to her follow up visits after the surgery. My mother had continued to have pain and discomfort after surgery. On one visit, he looks at her and mentioned "we should have cemented it in " REALLY??? You want to trust your Doctor to make the best type of option available to any surgery or treatment he gives you. And then he questioned himself, of what he should of done. I was being seen by Dr. Garver for a Few months. At first it was good but a lil creepy. I say creepy because he rubs my leg not in a doctor patient type of way. He gets to close in between my legs made me uncomfortable. I wore braids into his office and in the room he started rubbing his hands down my hair. I over looked a lot but I told a couple friends and family members they said it’s probably age. Have anyone else experienced this? He was nice in the beginning.
