I was Dr Detmering's technician at times when we worked Family Medicine together many years ago. He is an extremely knowledgeable Dr and just as important he is a good person too. If you have Dr D as PCM you will treated properly.

Dr. Detmering was both my primary care physician at the VA, but I also considered him as a friend. I have worked with physicians all my life as an Audiologist. He left the VA, and apparently the city. Through Medicare I was hoping to find him to be my Doctor again. Being a VA physician is profoundly difficult. They assign you 1.5K patients with various needs. This is one of the best physicians I have ever known, and I have personally known hundreds. I miss his laughter and professionalism.
