Ive seen Dr. Burgio in 2011 to have a tumor removed and reconstruction and a implant in my right ear. And I thought he did a great job considering my condition! Wished I was still around the area. I definitely would go back to see him! Thank you Dr Burgio for the great work you did on my right ear! God bless you and hope your doing well!
Worst doctor I have ever been to. Put a hole in my ear drum, caused it to bleed and get infected. I was only there for an ear cleaning. No compassion at all. Told him it was hurting while he was cleaning but, he just went on anyway.
We had issues with the office staff following through with calling in the prescriptions into our pharmacy, which delayed treatment. Dr. Burgio did not go into detail about the plan and rational for all the medications. There was poor communication about him needing a procedure in the office but once we got there he mentioned he did not have to have it done, costing us an office visit, waiting and my time that was not needed. Did not really look at the ears or nose at this follow up.
My experience with this doctor was nothing but negative. He was not knowledgeable on how to diagnose me and I felt I was sent in many wrong directions. I didn't feel that he cared to solve the problem and do not reccomend going to him.
It took an hour and 10 minutes to see the Dr. Burgio. This does not include the get there 30 minutes early to fill out the paper work. After going back to see the doctor he looks in my ears and say that there was some wax build up so he proceeds to clean the wax out of my ears. This was quite painful. my appointment was on a Friday. I wake up on Sunday morning with pain in both my ears. Had to go to emergency care place. They told me I had an infection in both ears.
I was recommended to Dr Don Burgio by another ENT in the same group. I needed surgery on my to ear drums to close large holes cause by another ENT in the same group by placing tubs. Months later I notice I was losing my hearing. I waited 2 hrs to see Dr Burgio and when he came to the consultation room he was gasping for air.. Any how after discussing my problem with him he gave me all the worse signals for the procedure he wanted to perform on my ear. ran away. pretty scary.
The Best. In the past have endured numerous ear procureders as well as surgery. With Dr Borgio it will be my last. Skilled knowledgeable in the past I have seen Drs at Mayo and Barrows none to my satisfaction. Dr Borgio has the skill set I needed and deserved.I would take my grandchildren to be treated here. Remember when they are infants they can't tell you how the appointment went.I shudder when I think of that. Have trust: you have the best with Dr Borgio and staff as well!
