Dr. Barba has been my PCP for a some time now, maybe for 5 years now. I’m type 1 diabetic and I use an insulin pump and she refuses to fill my Rx due to not seeing my current endo that she never referred me to after I requested her multiple times (insurance changes and HMO are so complicated). Finally after two phone calls from her reps cause she is apparently too busy to tell me no herself, they tell me she’s not going to fill it. Great experience. Friendly and took the time to listen to my concerns. Gave me the concerned Tia (aunty) vibes. It was very appreciated and put me at ease.
I have complete confidence in Dr. Barba. As others have said, she is very professional, caring, listens to you and provides the best medical advice. Although I have a PPO, I seek her opinion when a specialist is needed. She also responds to messages and follows up when necessary.
I have no words anymore to describe dr Barba. She is an answer to my prayers. Amazin dr and human being. She is out of this world. The best dr I ever had.
