I was in a minor fender bender four years ago. Meaning I'm pretty sure I minorly bent someone's fender with my body when they hit me and left me on the side of the road. I've had 7 surgeries, 4 of them by Dr. Gesink. Internal fixation, removal and updating of hardware implemented in my internal fixation. He's why I can walk, why I still have a right leg. I can't thank him and his staff enough.
Wonderful orthopedic doctor.
He was the third surgeon I met with regarding a foot problem (he didn't know this) and was the only one of the three who suggested alternative ways of trying to rehab my foot and considered surgery the final approach. The other two immediately went to surgery. After four months of rehab my foot is so much better that I don't consider it a problem. I am so grateful I ended up with Dr. Gesink!
