I visited for the 1st time due to my thyroid issues met with Dina Rivera and I wasted $70 she that she can tell me the same of what my pcp told me, take labs and Raise my thyroid medication. That is all she had to tell me Nothing else. I was referred to a specialist and for what?! The office Manager never called me back and when I called the receptionist slammed the phone on me when I called to complain about my useless visit. Dr Rivera is always rushed and does not take the time to listen to you. She has been practicing for many years, but seems to know next to nothing about thyroid issues. She has not been able to stabilize my thyroid levels in almost a year and tells me she does not know why they are going up and down. My last visit, was maybe 2 minutes….levels now too low, were too high last time. I may as well just use my PCP who at least cares and can run labs and adjust meds which is all Dr Rivera is doing. Llamé en Enero para hacer una cita y nadie me contestó, llamé en marzo y lo mismo. Qué horror de atención al paciente. No quiero juzgar a la endocrinóloga porque no sé que tan capaz y preparada está. Pero la primera impresión cuenta muchísimo y si su staff nunca contesta el teléfono, no quiero imaginar qué pasaría en una emergencia en su oficina
