After confirming to the doctor’s office the date I would be able to do my colonoscopy, I proceeded to completed my lab test at Quest 7-10 days prior to procedure. I also stopped taking my vitamins and started my cleansing process the day before, expecting a call from the hospital or surgery center, I did not receive any communication. Dr Velarde is the best surgeon/physician you could ask for. He was referred by a family member that he operated on and I am sure glad they did. Although my surgery was a complicated one, he handled it with the utmost care and professionalism. The follow up care he provided showed that Dr Velarde really cares. His office staff is friendly and awesome also. I would give Dr Velarde six stars if I could and I most highly recommend him to anyone that could use his services.
Dr Velarde did an amazing job with my procedure which is my first surgery under general anesthesia. I had no worries after meeting his office staff and eventual hospital surgical team. Everyone from the team introduced themselves prior to my surgery explaining exactly what their responsibilities were for taking care of me that morning. Dr. Velarde is the absolute best surgeon our city has. Besides hands that were sent from the angels it is his head and mostly his HEART that separates him from anyone else in this town. Everyone that knows him has decided that if he could be cloned would be the answer to our prayers. If you need help call him. You won’t be sorry. He has helped me personally twice so I know what I’m writing is the truth.
