Friendly and listens. Medical questions go unanswered 2+ weeks via the my upmc app, just generic apologies without follow through. Doctor doesn't research patients diseases and gives inappropriate medical advice due to ignorance.

I had been complaining about my knee pain for years, Dr Zalenski told me I’m old (48), it’s arthritis, take anti depressants because if you’re depressed it makes the pain seem worse…. Never addressed or ran any tests for my legitimate real pain. My new doc did an mri. I have stage 4 bone on bone, Hoffas pad syndrome and an edema. Had she ever ran a test she would have seen this happening before it got to level 4 and been helped. This is not the only issue she ignored me about, nor is she the only doctor that did not listen. ... read more
Highly competent, compassionate & caring. Top notch in all respects.
Dr. Z is top of the line. She listens and takes her time to properly diagnose, but what i really like is that she is a "people person" and very easy to communicate with. I feel right at home during my check-ups with her. I highly recommend her and this practice in general! Staff was also friendly and enthusiastic.
