Unprofessional to say the least. The person who handles calls is unintelligible and slurs their words terribly. Very hard to understand. Simple question on current prescriptions and their substitutions because of the hair loss side effect. No response to email and then when I called they promised a call in 1 business day. Recently had to see a heart Dr. about an afib problem I recently experienced when my Smart Watch alerted me while I slept. I was referred to Dr. Thomas Nylk and he was very nice and scheduled a series of tests for me to determine if it was more than afib. When I went to see Dr. Nylk for the results, he let me know right away that I did not need any operations and no clogged arteries etc. However, I still have afib and he listened to my complaints about the meds and switched me over to try some meds with less side effects. Today I had a Nuclear stress test. I had high anxiety, due to claustrophobia. The 2 gentleman technicians doing the test were very professional and gentle, and made the experience less frightening. I appreciate your expertise. Thank you, Linda Green
I love Dr Desai and have followed him for 12 years from Renown to St. Mary's to his present office. However, as several other posters have noted, his office staff are horrible! At my last visit he recommended a drug but wanted me to check with my nephrologist to see if it was okay for me to take. She agreed, so I called to get it filled. I have been trying for almost 2 weeks to get this prescription filled: I leave a message on a line that says they will get back to me in 24-48 hours, and no one calls. Dr. Desai and staff took very good care of me, Before and after my watchmen procedure It was a overnight stay and I am not one that likes hospitals but I wouldn't have mine being able to stay another day.Because of the great care that the hospital Doctor Dr.Desai his staff and Chelsea.
