My only interaction was with the staff on the phone who was abhorrent enough to deter me from the clinic. I am sure Dr. Randall must be very helpful but the staff really needs some training in being courteous and empathetic to distressed parents. All I had was a very polite request to postpone the appointment due to a conflict in my schedule after which I was snapped at in the rudest manner possible and she went on straight to cancel it altogether. Super Helpful Staff and ENT Doctor. I have a complex situation and he’s helped me find alternative outlets. I’m grateful for his care everyone I talk to says he’s the best ENT in Calgary and he’s lived up to that, IMO.
Being referred to Dr. Randall will likely cost me my life. I have Severe Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome as a result of Severe ME/CFS (a Disease that is still cruelly being Psychologized by most Doctors in this City, especially those that train at U of C). People with Severe Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome are at high risk of Arterial Dissection due to Connective Tissue Problems and the weakening of the ligaments in the neck. Dr. Derrick Randall was an amazing doctor to both my children. He took both kids tonsils and adenoids out. I highly recommend him. He made my kids and myself feel very comfortable about the surgeries. He listen to my concerns and explained everything very clearly.
