By far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a medical practice—and I’m not new to surgery. This surgeon and his staff left me fairly unsupported during the worst pain of my life, for over a month. Dr Dupree saved my Moms life. She just moved here from Michigan 5 months ago and started having bad spasms and Trinity Hospital was the ONLY one that did everything they could to hep her when they discovered she was on the verge of leaking spinal fluid and Dr Dupree did her surgery. The entire team was amazing and our family could not Thank god enough for leading us to the right place at the right time and blessing us with Dr Dupree and his staff. Thank You does not seem like enough but we truly Thank You!
He may be a wonderful neurosurgeon. I have no complaints about the surgery itself (emergency brain surgery for a tumor) However, he never came out to speak with the family after the surgery or bothered to call them, even after repeated requests. So far as we can tell, he never even went to see him on his rounds while he was in the hospital. ( we asked the nurses). He never let us know it was cancer or how much permanent damage was done
The most caring Dr and surgeon you can find, Dr Dupre is a Blessing, he is knowledgeable, he goes further than most Dr's nowadays, doesn't rely solely on MRI and other reports, he actually looks at the images; he takes the time to look for himself and sees what everyone else missed, I've gone years of suffering until I became his patient, he listened, he spoke and treated me like a human being, went over what he saw, discussed his findings and thoughts, although my surgery was not an easy one, which we discussed in advance, ... read more
