Dr Vollmer is very knowledgeable, and I trust his judgement. I’m sorry that he will be retiring soon.
Hands down best neurosurgeon in the western hemisphere.
I was referred to Dr. Vollmer for back surgery by a pain management specialist after 10 months of excruciating pain and several unsuccessful treatments. Surgery was the only option remaining, as I have a bulging disc, leg/foot numbness. After reviewing my MRI, Dr. Vollmer sent me for an EMG, and gave me 3 different prescriptions. After the EMG came back normal, Dr. Vollmer had his nurse call me to tell me results, that he couldn't help me, but for me to stay on the prescriptions he had given. Had really bad experience with Dr. Vollmer, after two surgeries I was getting worst. He had his nurse contact me and say there was nothing else he could do for me. I definitely would not recommend this surgeon.
