Professional take time to listen before evaluating why your visit and understanding
Had been seeing Dr Joffe for 4 years Last two appts, she ran 30 mins and 40 mins late (no call from the office to let me know they are running late) Most recent appt could have been a message or phone call (it was 5 mins long), but the office was adamant on bringing me in (perhaps so they could bill me). She did not examine me and was dismissive of my questions.
Dr. Joffe is often very cavalier and seem to treat and see patients like numbers as if the office needs to meet a quota per day. To see a specialist based on my insurance only copay is needed. But with her practice even to read a report of constant glucose monitor or to show how to use a diabetic injectable they charge insurance company. If she is endocrinologist and treating diabetic patients, these services should not be billed as add-ons. They are standard procedure to make sure patient's diabetes is under control.
