Update: Soon after posting my review, Dr. K and his Krew were voted a much deserved Best of the Region for the 5th straight year. There's no need to drive to Chicago to get the best vein treatment. There's a reason Dr. Karamichos has been chosen Best of the Region for 4 straight years by the readers of the NWI Times. He possesses the rare combination among physicians of being extraordinarily competent while at the same time showing a warm and sincere interest in his patients needs, treatment and progress. Additionally, Dr. K and Region Vein were voted #1 in vein care by the same publication 5 years in a row. I feel very fortunate to have become one of his many satisfied patients.

I had Varithena treatment in February on both legs for my chronic venous insufficiency at Region Vein with Dr. Karamichos & his staff are wonderful. They were able to get my insurance approved & set up a series of 5 appointments for my ultra sounds & injections finished within a month. I am very happy with my results. You don’t have to wear the uncomfortable compression stockings afterwards either. Just walking right after your injection appointment for 20 mins. A+ for outcome, efficiency, & friendly staff.
