Dr. Awasthi performed a discectomy and a spinal fusion on me on 5-22-2024, and when he came to see me the following day he did not even ask me how I was feeling. He showed no compassion at all. He literally walked into my room and started barking orders at me, discontinued my pain medications 20 minutes before I was supposed to receive them, and then he was surprised that I fired him. Dr Awasthi is second to None . His PA is the best . His staff is amazing
Worse dr I have ever been to. He did a decompression on me. I called multiple times with concerns that my incision was not healing always got the same answer “it’s fine”. Released at 6 weeks and sent to rehab. Very first visit my incision reopened and I had to find my own doctors to check for infection and have my incision scraped open to allow for healing. He just did a laminectomy on my wife on 1/22/20 he was very courteous and took time explaining what to look for after the surgery . We have a follow up in 2 weeks on feb 6 . She noticed immediate pain relief and had more mobility . Can’t wait to see how things progress . Would definitely recommend using this Surgeon.His office responded quickly to all messages left
The office staff is not friendly at all. They act like you are bothering them, don't return phone calls are answer questions. Been waiting over a month and a half for them to schedule my surgery. Even after insurance approval 3 weeks later they still haven't scheduled. And say the have no information for me on anything. Leave messages never returns phone call.
Dr Awasthi just did a lumbar spinal fuse on me he is great explains everything going on would recommending him to anyone with back problems
