Absolutely horrible experience with Dr. Bowers when I went to L&D to be checked at 36 weeks due to some difficulties breathing. Her bedside manner was horrible. Left me sobbing after she came in and basically berated me for having type 1 diabetes and having children. Insulted my endocrinologist and my OB, stating that they must not be providing me with the care I need during this pregnancy (this was my second child). Horrible Dr. Terrible bedside manner. Saw her at Reston hospital a year ago. Treatment was so bad her nurse apologized to us when she left the room. Google her name and see all the other reviews that come up. Incredibly rude and condescending. I'm sure if I were white she wouldn't have asked if I knew who my child's father was.

I firmly believe Dr. Bowers saved my life. I was at Reston for one of many ER visits for abdominal pain. It was indescribable. I had recently had an MRI done and in the findings they had seen some endometriosis. During this specific visit I wound up having a hemorrhagic cyst on one of my ovaries rupture.
