My family and I love Dr Bowers. She has delivered three of my four children by c section. I had pre-existing health conditions where that was my only option. With each pregnancy I became more high risk for a rupture. I appreciated her directness and honesty when it came to our risks. Her concerns helped us to receive extra help and care. Absolutely horrible experience with Dr. Bowers when I went to L&D to be checked at 36 weeks due to some difficulties breathing. Her bedside manner was horrible. Left me sobbing after she came in and basically berated me for having type 1 diabetes and having children. Insulted my endocrinologist and my OB, stating that they must not be providing me with the care I need during this pregnancy (this was my second child). Horrible Dr. Terrible bedside manner. Saw her at Reston hospital a year ago. Treatment was so bad her nurse apologized to us when she left the room. Google her name and see all the other reviews that come up. Incredibly rude and condescending. I'm sure if I were white she wouldn't have asked if I knew who my child's father was.
