I'm loyal to all dentists I've had. However, Dr. Ashida's dentistry seems money driven. Appointments are overbooked, your time isn't considered. Dirty environment and your care is treated as if you're in an assembly line. I didn't recall her thoroughly washing hands between patients! My ex-girlfriend got dentures that fall's out her mouth! Put my crown in incorrectly which fell out in a month, when I called to get crown fixed receptionist told me I would have to additionally get fillings (which I cannot afford).
Dr. Ashida seems to serve a more humble population and therefore—don’t expect some fancy office. What Dr. Ashida and her hygienists do well is get to the point and get the job done. As for the long wait, anywhere you go you’ll be waiting. After going to many different dentists I can honestly say Dr. Ashida and staff were very good. If I still lived in NM I would definitely keep her as my dentist.
They work done is the worst I have ever had done in my life. Super rough with the injections. And I've never not had 4 shots, they shoved it all in my tiny face with two huge shots. It didn't even numb my mouth, just the whole side of my face. She stabbed me in the gums and scratched the roof of my mouth, I felt a lot of it. The filling I got looks huge and ridiculous. And it's so sharp and gritty. What's the point of the intake? They squirted me in my sore tooth with freezing cold water! They don't have any bedside manner. ... read more
