Nothing against Dr Dean himself, but their ‘account specialist’ whom goes by Ashley. Charged my insurance company on my behalf a product fee 2 months after I even saw the Dr. WITHOUT permission. I didn’t order anything, I haven’t spoken to their staff since my previous visit months ago then got notified by my insurance company of a random charge. My family and I have been going here for 25 ish years and they are the best Imho. There are a couple times I've booked into other optometrists just due to work schedule or what not and in those instances I should have just waited to get in to Dr.Deans office. Acute vision is super important due to my hobbies and they are the only people I trust to get the most out of my eyes.
I highly recommend Dr.Dean Willoughby. He is very friendly and professional.
Honest review: they have one secretary who has been insistingly rude and difficult to deal with. She has a rude tone of voice, the type that can ruin your day. She’s judgemental as well, and unreasonable as I asked for one day of contact lenses, and explained I was from out of town and had forgot my glasses and was on my last pair of contacts and been wearing 3 days straight and 2 nights straight. Nice building and layout nothing against dr willoughby. BUT I Disliked how MY GRANDMA was treated by the staff. She’s old and I’m 7 months pregnant. So I took my grdm here and she was already feeling extremely emotional about the exam to begin with. I know because I had to talk to her for encouragement. she’s been getting her eyes Lasered for 5 years now and was anxious about going blind from diabetes.
