Dr. Schwender saved my life. If not for him I probably wouldnt be alive. He didnt waste time running the right tests and his recommendations were excellent as far as hospital and recommended surgeon for my operatiom! So I give him a 5 Star ***** He also changed medications another doctor prescribed which was hurting my mother and got her stable on some new ones !!
I have been having some medical issues and my doctor referred me to this very rude and poor excuse for a doctor. He did not even examine me. I told him my problems and he basically told me to just get over it. I would never recommend going to this uncaring doctor.

As a surgeon I am only able to treat problems that can be resolved with a surgical intervention, not medical problems. I always examine my patients and if I cannot provide a solution, I refer my patients back to their primary care provider or to the appropriate specialist.
Because he took the time out to find out what was wrong when no other doctor would I'm glad that my family doctor refer me to him
