I was under the care of Dr. Straus for gallbladder removal in June 2025. After initially presenting to the emergency department with significant abdominal pain, I was diagnosed with gallstones and referred for outpatient surgery. During a telehealth consultation, Dr. Straus thoroughly explained my treatment options, and I initially opted to delay the procedure. The doctor is nice. But his admin is bad. Been waiting for over a month on a priauthorization n they told me multiple times it's not them. Literally told me the third time they are doing it the next day. N weeks again n nothing. How do you file a state complaint. This is my daily life that I need surgery
Dr. Strauss came into the hospital after clinic on spring break weekend for a lapchole. He has professional yet comforting bedside manor and is willing to answer any questions. I am a breastfeeding mom, so he gave me time to pump just prior to surgery. I highly recommend Dr.Strauss. For follow up his clinic is super clean and his staff are so nice. Forever thankful for this doctor!
Will reschedule your appointments a couple times. Then the day of surgery with IV in arm , nausea medication given, reschedule again. I will be looking for care elsewhere.
