I was referred to Dr. Sime for a left hip replacement. From the outset, he was welcoming, professional and clear in what the process would involve. I was made to feel very confident and comfortable before and post the operation. Dr. Sime visited me in hospital the day following surgery and reassured me that all went to plan which set me on a positive path to recovery.

I highly recommend David Sime. He is an exceptional orthopaedic surgeon and absolute professional. Over the years he has performed three surgeries on me - including a fractured elbow, fractured tibia and fibula, and a shattered wrist requiring internal fixation. Each time the care, communication and surgical outcome were outstanding. I had minimal scarring and have made a full recovery. Very grateful for his expertise and would confidently recommend him to anyone needing orthopaedic surgery.
Went to see David in August 2025 was very helpful quickly saw I was in pain and organised everything I needed to have a total hip replacement he is and excellent Orthopaedic Surgeon and very caring it’s been 5 months now since having my surgery and couldn’t be happier best thing I have ever done highly recommend David and his team and Holmesglen hospital thank you so much for giving me back my mobility
