Consult experience Reception staff was polite Consult room clean However I couldn't help but notice the lack of empathy or care when it comes to personal symptoms. For example the "harden up princess" comment I mean regardless of intent, I have experienced pain and discomfort with this injury it's had a negative impact on daily to the extent mental health has also been impacted. Sorry for the long delay of this review I went and seen Dr Shooter October 2022 ish after 4 bad knee operations else where, from that very first meeting I knew things were going to be different, he spoke to me in terms I could understand, he never rushed our consults, some being over half an hr, he explained everything he was going to do in the day and what to expect after the operation. January 19 2023 the big day, turns out a standard 2 hr operation went for 4.5 hrs due to other bad surgeries on the knee, next day he came ... read more
He attended me after a traumatic accident and was such a caring professional Thought I would never get a shoe on but not the case after his treatment
I'm impressed with Dr Shooter. I struggled to find a knee surgeon who would operate on a patient under 45 years of age, but Dr Shooter didn't hesitate. I've found the post-surgery support and rehab also to be better than most other providers, I should know, I'm a nurse. If you need your knee done or require advice, get a referral and book in. You won't regret it!
Highly recommend Dr Shooter, after having an ongoing infection that other medical professionals couldn’t fix, Dr Shooter fixed it the first time round. His quality of care is exceptional and the post surgery communication was great.
